When it comes to life axioms, I often rely on my buddy Ralph. He’s the one that said life’s about the journey, not the destination. He recommended doing things that scare us. That we should never follow the beaten path, but forge our own trail. What I Learned From My Failed Marriage

After the year from hell, one final signature will end this chapter of my life for good.
Even though the bleeding stopped long ago, I still feel a nagging pain in the pit of my stomach every now and again. A reminder that, even though the past has been forgiven, it can never really be forgotten. It happens at the strangest times; certain smells will bring back memories as clearly as if they’d happened yesterday; a song will make me tear up at a coffee shop; photos will bring back conversations long forgotten.
