Chantielle, I understand and appreciate your response. My whole thing is that, this is all about establishing yourself as a brand through hard work and dedication. Inorder to solidify yourself as a personal brand that will make an impact in the corporate world, it has to be original, creative and describes the individual so that people will be able to relate because it is sincere. Anyone who takes credit for ideas that are not theirs should not be credited with any advice given regarding their words and movement because it is not who they are. I sent an email to Haj Flemings and look forward to a response. Thanks for the heads up!

Dwayne - I apologize, I was not aware of Kukoo da Baga Bonez or that he was responsible for the term. With that being said, I don't belive this site is trying to take credit for anyone else's work; this post was written following a presentation that Hajj gave over a year ago at Brand Camp. I have no affiliation with Hajj other than attending the session and this post simply provides remarks concerning the advice he shared. Perhaps you should contact him? He's on Twitter at @HajjFlemings .

Sorry for the misunderstanding.

This guy did not invent the word or term "GRUSTLER", "Grustle" or "Grustlin". An underground hip hop artist by the name of Kukoo da baga bonez invented it years ago. How can this site give advice about business and being your own person when they are not even representing who they are and taking credit for someone else's creativity and hard work without giving credit or due?

Just figured this out... Users with their security settings set to "use secure browsing where possible" will not see any custom tab content unless your server has SSL encryption installed on it.

Hope that helps.

This was a really nice article, with great points regarding developing relationships with Bloggers you are courting. Just to throw our hat in the ring here, http://Business2Blogger.com helps make that initial Blogger contact ridiculously easy. No more Googling or cold-emailing.

Best wishes,

Jay

I think the point about "sharing one side of the story (regardless of which side that might be) [being] irresponsible and dangerously close to slander. These were real people we were talking about – shouldn’t that matter for something?" is extremely important, but unfortunately not considered enough.

Social media can be so quick and impersonal that people tend to forget about the real-life hopes, disappointments, joys, and pains, the human stories that typically underlie those tweets, shares, and likes. People also tend to forget the consequences of sharing a thought or a piece of information that has the power be instantly spread to thousands, and even millions of online users.

Only those present know the truth of the incident - facts are crucial and reporting without them is truly dangerous. Actually posting without facts is really gossip and rarely ends well.

Many of us feel that other than holding hands or a casual hug other. shows of affection beyond this should be saved for private less public places. This is just proper etiquette and courtesy - When private acts of affection are done in public those doing so open themselves to comment - so if they do not want comments they need to keep their actions private.

Well, I fall squarely into the sharing camp. I can't say it's the right way to go, but I feel that discussion is rarely the wrong way (except when people are about to come to blows).

[WORDPRESS HASHCASH] The poster sent us '0 which is not a hashcash value.

Do you have any news today? I try to build a Facebook application, and I encounter the same problem : visitors connected with https can't see the content of my application. It seems that Facebook wants to keep the secure connexion iframe.
